Regular physical activity is important to overall well being including mental health. However, sometimes it is hard to find the time or the motivation to start and stay active, especially when we are all stuck at home. Below are some tips & links to help you start and stay active!

First and foremost, be KIND to yourself.

Make realistic goals that you can meet and keep — start small and build up.

Drink lots of water — stay hydrated.

Eat a balanced nutrition.

Make sure to warm up, cool down, and always listen to your body.

Keep yourself accountable or find an accountability partner.

Remember exercise does not have to mean “going to the gym” — find things you love to do.

Lastly, reward yourself!
